Clinical history :
A 76 year old woman was seen for an enlarging mass on her right lateral thigh over a period of 2 months. Thorough clinical and radiographic studies did not reveal evidence of a tumor elsewhere in the body. A fine needle aspiration was done which showed pleomorphic tumor cells consistent with a high-grade sarcoma. The tumor was resected.
